The Young Adult Leadership Program
The Young Adult Leadership Program (Y.A.L.P) is designed to prepare young people for the real world. It gives them the skills they need to reach their goals and live up to their full potential – at school, in their relationships, and future careers. At Dale Carnegie Training, we call them “skills that last a lifetime”.
- Build Self-confidence
- Enhance Communication and Public Speaking Skills
- Increase Self-Motivation
- Manage Attitude and Stress
- Deal with Peer Pressure
- Set Goals and Hold Self Accountable
- Refine Leadership and Team Work Skills
- Practice Interviewing Skills
How the Program works
The Young Adult Leadership Program runs once a week for 8 weeks. The sessions run for 3.5 hours and are normally held on Sundays. This is a step by step process that builds from session to session. It is participative and exercise driven with limited lecture and no written tests. You learn by doing!
Schedule Conflicts
We often have other programs running which allow the opportunity to make up any sessions you miss at no additional cost. We will also schedule additional make-up sessions at Cattail Creek Country Club
College Credit Eligibility
The American Council on Education has recommended that graduates of The Dale Carnegie Young Adult Leadership Program be granted 2 college transfer credits
